Weddings

For a wedding that's as spectacular as it is special, Sandy Cove has it all. Our stunning location makes the whole day unforgettable, from your wedding ceremony to the reception and evening celebrations.

Our lovely function room, amazing clifftop marquee and Seadecks alfresco Bistro can be yours for the day - and there's even a romantic 4-poster bed honeymoon suite to make the day complete.

The Red Carpet Treatment

When your day arrives, feel special as you step from your car onto the red carpet.

Drinks on Arrival

Welcome drinks will be served as you and your guests arrive at the Hotel. Where better to enjoy them than the lovely Sandy Cove gardens overlooking the bay. Canapés can be served to guests, while your photographs are being taken.

Organising the Receiving Line

After your photographs and drinks, we will proceed with organising the receiving line - the Bride and Groom, both sets of parents and any others you wish to be involved, or simply the Bride and Groom. Your guests will then be invited to be greeted by you and to make their way through to the Restaurant. On their way through they will pass your table plan to guide them to their seats.

Master of Ceremonies

Our management team will be delighted to organise the sequence of events throughout your day. This will include cutting the cake and announcing the speeches.

Flowers

For a small cover charge, we will arrange a beautiful floral display to match your wedding colours.

Cake Stand

We have a cake stand together with a Wedding knife if you require.

Table Plan

Whether you prefer round or long tables, we will do everything we can to help you arrange the perfect seating plan.

Wedding Breakfast

With our excellent selection of menus and wine to complement we will help you to plan your perfect day. Sandy Cove Hotel caters for all types of wedding from the smallest to the largest and most sophisticated catering from 10 to 200.

Evening Reception

Our magnificent marquee is available for your evening reception. We offer our finger buffet or our barbecue menu.

Accommodation

We can offer the Bridal Suite and full English breakfast at a discount of 10%. If any of your guests require accommodation, we can offer our 3 day break with a 5% reduction.

Special Touches

Chair covers for your wedding breakfast are available and we have a heavenly chocolate fountain available for your evening reception.

Room Hire

For receptions above 50 there is no room hire charge.

Civil Licence

Marriage ceremonies can take place on the premises.

Mid Week & Winter Weddings

Special reduced rates are available.
